Scam Alert! Hampson English China TEFL Internships are outright frauds - AVOID!

The Hampson English TEFL internships are thinly-veiled scams that help them avoid the costs of medical and other employee benefits. They are famous for being cheap as every former employee knows (including me - I resigned 2 months ago after they cheated me out of $4,000 with fake tax deductions). Anyway, the China TEFL internships they offer online in their ads are really just regular teaching jobs, but by calling them "internships" they can reduce the salary by 50% and avoid having to buy medical insurance for the teacher interns, who will teach the same classes as the regular teachers. It is a very clever money-saving scheme and after 3or 6 months they will be "promoted" to regular teachers status if the intern is not willing to extend their internship. Don't be fooled by these Chinese scam artists. When six of their teachers got arrested for fake diplomas and no Z visas last year, Hampson would not even hire a lawyer to help their own employees and would not even pay their $2,000 fines to get them out of jail!
