Had a great time in Jaipur teaching in both the government run school and the street kids school. The kids are incredibly friendly and excited to have you there. With many more kids at the state school it can be pretty difficult managing everyone and (hopefully) teaching them useful stuff too. But it was very rewarding to sample a bit of their lives and see how they enjoy interacting with you.
The house i stayed at was very comfortable and we were well looked after by Pranay, Amita, the driver, and the young cook (whose name i unfortunately forget) who made great food and seemed to be in a constantly cheery mood singing to herself and laughing. As a hardened carnivore I was surprised that vegetarian food could be so enjoyable for so long!
Jaipur is a great location with so much to see in the local area especially if you enjoy old forts/palaces.
Highly recommended!

It was a life changing experience. I have gone through emotional highs and lows during this experience as I have dealt with my emotions working with children without parents. Accommodation was great- very safe and clean. The food was delicious. The team are warm hearted with the volunteers but also very professional. I will highly recommend this volunteer organization to friends and family and to those who are interested in volunteering.

It was a wonderful experience in terms of teaching the little children in the slum area. One of the most enriching experience of my life. But the staff was very bad, except for Mr.Puran and the little girl who cooked our food for us. I even had my belongings and money stolen at this place and the staff was not at all helpful or supportive. Instead they told me if I filed a complaint with the police, they would consider asking me to leave. Being international, I had nowhere else to go I had to stay back since I had already spent the money and had begun to love the kids. I recommend not to choose this program even though the cheap costs might be attractive its not worth the risk.

Really great experience both here in Jaipur and in particular with the children. I would recommend this program to everyone who is interested in volunteering in India. I wish that I was able to stay longer and hope to contribute my time in future. The children were a joy to teach, living in so much poverty they are just normal children. The food was delicious and accommodation was as expected. Volunteer house was in a safe, convenient location- much appreciated. Staff was great to work with. They were attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable. They were supportive. I would certainly recommend this program to others. It was a truly life changing and profound experience. I wish that I could stayed longer and contribute to the program even more.
