AFS

I was raped during my AFS year and after they found out they tried to just send me back home without calling the police. One of the AFS volunteers did so, because I was forced to move away to her house for a week.
AFS turned thier backs and the government stepped in so I could finish my year at a friend's home.
Don't put your child through this, Rotary is a much better option.

I was an exchange student with the Rotary Club in Brazil and they placed me in a home in a bad neighborhood and the house was robbed and I was raped and strangled. When I got home a member called me and told me repeatedly that it never happened. They are not reputable either.

AIU - American InterContinental University

Loved it............. everyone made me feel welcome and the experience was best in class... thank you!! The experience abroad opened me up to many contacts I otherwise wouldn't have. The content was excellent and I was challenged throughout the program.

University of Dreams

I obtained my internship in San Francisco in summer 2007 using University of Dreams and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to intern abroad. I was very impressed by the staff all the way through, from obtaining my internship to looking after me for 8 weeks over summer. The weekend activities they organise are awesome, such as white water rafting, city tours and overnight trips (mine was to Lake Tahoe and was great fun!). You meet loads of incredible people and the entire programme is amazingly organised (they think of absolutely everything!) - a definite 10 out o 10, I cannot recommend it enough!
