From Monday to Friday I worked in NGO and on weekend I visit different cities for relaxation. The company staff supports me a lot on every stage. Whole day I spent my time on project and in evening I visit local market, malls for purchasing. On project I distributed lots of things which are helpful for kids in future. And I am very happy for that. Thank you.

Really Feeling Very Very Bad Experience Here.... Poor Service, High Fees in comparing to other NGO. Really its not the NGO... its shop start to earn the money in Dollar and Convert in to Indian Rupees. Really very very frustrated with Pranay and Amita... they don't care to the Poor Child... DON'T JOIN THIS....IF anyone got enquiry about this... then found that... they make lots of property and black money....DON' JOIN THIS...indirectly Pranay say that we start this business to earn the money....Real NGO help to the Poor Child, their Health, Education and Future Development...they focus on BIG MONEY....

The overall layout and design of the Gap Year Expedition program is good to be a responsible tourist in India, I had a great time. I joined their 6 week Gap Year India Expedition and get opportunity to work with street kids for 4 weeks. This experience definantly ranks as one of my all time greatest. The kids have touched my heart in such an incredible way.
Pranay & Amita (Organizers) are compassionate, caring people who have inspired me to live my life in a way completely dedicated to the kids. I am so impressed by this project. I have learned so much that I know I will never forget. It was an honor to be a Sankalp Volunteer !!
The two weeks of travel has been one of the best ever as this has been an experience of a lifetime.
Thanks to Sankalp team, for all that you do for the kids here and for us !

Leave Ur Mark

I've had a crazy obsession with Bollywood movies when I was a little girl, so India was always a country on my bucket list to travel to. That dream came to past last year when I decided to intern with Leave Ur Mark. I have done many volunteer work in other countries before, but I can honestly say that I have had my greatest experience volunteering aboard with Leave Ur Mark. From meeting other interns from different parts of this earth, to the bus rides to work. Every day was an exciting adventure.

Leave Ur Mark works with you to help find the right project that would best fit you, so that your experience in India can be a meaningful one; which would allow you to have fun working on your project while immersing yourself into the culture. I did a women's development internship on menstruation health, putting the project together was a lot of work, but visiting schools in the slums and seeing how excited the girls were to learn about menstruation and allowing it to not exclude them from the social and cultural aspects of life allows you to take a step back to find your self and also helps you to realize the things that you take for granted, things as simple as a toilet.

My advice to future interns, stay longer than a month and make use of all the freedom you have to explore the rich and diverse country of India. Thank you Leave Ur Mark for this amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to travel back to India!

Sankalp Volunteer Society India

India can be a difficult place to be with the cultural differences and the societal gap. It's not always easy but it is so worth it! The people who run Sankalp are wonderful and very willing to help you through any difficulties. There are a variety of programs in Jaipur; orphanage, teaching and women's empowerment. I would recommend the experience to anyone. The accommodations are also very nice considering what is typical in India, makes the stay very comfortable.
