Forum Nexus

Forum Nexus has a special place in my heart. Throughout the summer I travelled to countries I only dreamt of visiting. The professors were very knowledgeable and kept you engaged. We had fun while learning, the program director Hugo was amazing, he encourages you to fully embrace in a new cultural and enjoy life. The workload was very bearable, you will always have time to do your schoolwork and make time for touring the city. I will cherish my friends and my experience over the summer. Forum Nexus is an amazing program and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Forum Nexus

This program was such an incredible experience! The Forum-Nexus staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had an amazing experience. They were always available for help and all of them were very knowledgeable about each city we visited. The classes were all very informative but left enough time in the day for free time and sight seeing. The hotels were always in close proximity to subways and restaurants. This experience was the most memorable experience I have had in college and I would love to go back and intern next year.

Forum Nexus

Forum Nexus is the most perfect study abroad program I could have ever imagined taking. I have learned so much about myself and about my own culture, as well as the different people on the trip and the different cultures in Europe and around the World. Everyone is incredibly nice and the professors are very knowledgable. Hugo is an amazing leader and he is sure to make everyone feel comfortable with their stay. I have become more confident in myself and my abilities by going on this study abroad. If anyone has a problem they have at least 40 other people just waiting to help them. The people in Forum Nexus are like a family and I am incredibly fortunate to be a part of it. I want to come back again next year and bring everyone else I know with me. Heck I want to come back for the next three years of my college career, maybe even after! The experience is unimaginable. Forum Nexus is so, so worth while. I would recommend anyone to go on this study abroad. I love it.

Forum Nexus

I was blessed enough to be able to attend Forum Nexus during the summer of 2012. My experience with Forum Nexus was nothing short of life changing. Having never been out of the United States before, it was great being able to see 5 difference countries throughout Europe within the span of a month, and experience this incredible trip with students from all over the world. I not only gained knowledge and experience from the program and the courses taken, but being able to interact with students from different cultures as well. The professors were very enthusiastic and were easy to connect with. If you want to see multiple counties in one trip and study with a large, diverse group of students, I would strongly suggest Forum Nexus. I wouldn't trade my experience with Forum Nexus for anything.

Forum Nexus

Traveling with Forum Nexus is an invaluable experience. I participated both in summer 2011 as a student and in 2012 as an intern. Participating in this program gave me the opportunity to visit European cultural sites, meet new people from all over the world who I can now say are long term friends. Even though moving from one city to another every four days sounds tiring it is worth the experience. It is one program that gave me the chance to enjoy and experience life like never before. It also allowed me to embrace new cultures and gave me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. Forum Nexus is one program I will admonish each and every student to endeavor in.

Forum Nexus

Horrible. The Program Executive did not want the students to bother him. He would give announcements by word of mouth and would change it every time someone would ask.

* Housing:
Stood in "four and three star hotels" that had no ac, no wifi, bugs would crawl all over you, rooms were too small for a single person and yet there were three or four to one room

This Program is nothing but a scam to get money from people. I hope this program will close due to the fact of all these people getting fooled. I pray the government gets involved and shut them down. Please if you are deciding to get involved with this program DONT.or if you dont care about spending $10000 or whatever they want to charge. Please Get into a real program not a scam.

Global Learning Semesters

My semester studying abroad with Global Learning Semesters was honestly one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I was enrolled in the Semester in Europe program, based out of Cyprus. With the program, we traveled for about a month total, and in between our trips to Central Europe and Greece and Italy, I was able to visit Jordan (which I would highly recommend), Israel, Egypt, England, and Scotland. I was constantly running around, but it meant that I saw so much of the world in only 100 days. The GLS staff was very accommodating and without them I know the experience wouldn't have been the same. I received a full semesters credits, when really I felt as if I spent the semester on vacation with a whole group of amazing people. I would recommend this program to anyone who is outgoing and wants to wander around the world for a while. And if you do decide on Global Learning Semesters, my advice is to do everything you can. Go everywhere. Someone says they want to take a trip to Istanbul, go. I came home with $4 in my bank account (granted, I didn't start with all that much), having spent my las money on a last minute plane ticket with some friends to Jordan, but honestly, I don't regret a single dollar (or Euro) that I spent. All of the money spent on extra travel was completely worth it. I now feel like I could go anywhere/do anything, and that is a confidence I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
So clearly, I love GLS. And I think you will too. So do it. : )

Academic Studies Abroad

The company did a wonderful job preparing me for my trip. My experiences were all very smooth and gave me little stress. Staff on campus and from ASA were all very willing to help before and after my arrival.

Global Learning Semesters

I went in Spring 2007 and some of the logistics and academic quality was still being worked out. But it was a great program non-the-less, and I would recommend it knowing that it continues to improve.

Global Learning Semesters

Logistically, the trips were planned so well and went so smoothly. The classes were very informative and required a fair amount of work. It was so much fun and I learned a lot.
