Nkwanta is an amazing place and my experience at God's Eye Orphanage and with IVHQ and Volunteer Corps was incredible. It was very well organized right from the moment I signed up, I was supported throughout the entire experience, all of my questions were answered thoroughly and promptly and I had the experience of a lifetime. I would definitely recommend IVHQ if you are interested in a great volunteer experience.

Whilst not only being the cheapest option, IVHQ in my opinion is clearly the only way to go. I have done 3 months stints in Tanzania a few times and loved it. The freedom is what attracts me most. Whilst in Tanzania you are free to visit any orphanage you wish any time you want. Also the option of living in a volunteer house (of which Tz now has 2) mixed with the option of living in fantastic home stays, makes for the perfect trip. The staff is great, the local people are amazing and the experience is indescribable.

I'm thinking of going to Tanzania this winter. Could I contact you to ask more questions?
Hi there! I am planning on going with IVHQ to Tanzania next summer and I would love to get in touch with you and would appreciate it if you would tell me some more about your experience with IVHQ : )

IVHQ was amazing. At first I was a little leary about the program. Yet, when I arrives in Cusco someone was waiting for me. They were very organised with my arrival. During my time spent there I had a lot of independence but also, if I wanted I could have been provided for by the program. I liked having the ability to explore by myself. Another important factor is the the other volunteers, they were a big help. I would recommend this program to anyone!

Hi, I also am thinking of heading to Cusco this summer. But the lack of straightforward volunteer reviews I can find online scares me. I would love to get a more detailed version of your opinion and what you did there. My email is trudylei92@yahoo.com if you could help me out! Thank you so much!
Did you hear of positive experiences from conservation/environmental volunteers?
Hi, I'll be heading to Cuzco for the educating program, and i†'s my first time with International Volunteer HQ. I'm a little worried about how organized and safe the program is and was hoping you could give me a little more insight please. Would appreciate it a lot, thanks!

IVHQ was very organised, friendly, and helpful - all for a very decent fee. The first few days is all set up perfectly with an airport pickup, accommodation with a host family in Nairobi, and an orientation day where they give you all the information you need. They dropped me off and picked me up from my placement, and kept in touch with me the whole time to make sure I was ok. They also set me up with a host family in Nairobi at the end where I needed to spend a few days. Overall, this is a great company and I highly recommend them.

Did you work with Fadhili Community in Kenya, and if so can you provide feed back on them?

From the beginning, IVHG was helpful about my questions. They responded quickly to all emails and described the programs accurately. I had an amazing experience in both Delhi, India and in rural Palampur! I highly recommend this wonderful organization to anyone who wants to experience a new culture, do some volunteer work and have it all extremely affordable! The field support was friendly, helpful and I have met some great people - the staff and fellow volunteers from around the world.

hey guys - ive been trying to find the facebook page to get onto it but cant seem to find it? any ideas?
Yes I am. Go to the IVHQ Facebook group. There are about 10 of us on there planning things and discussing it.
good luck dude!!
After reading this post, I looked into rcdpinternationalvolunteer.org but they are based in Nepal and the whole set up is very dodgy. I contacted two past volunteers of rcdp interntaional from their Facebook page and the feedback was not good. I've looked into a few companies and IVHQ seems very affordable and the feedback is great. I went onto their Facebook group page and found some past contacts who only had great things to say..... BTW I am looking at the Kenya program. I am going in March 2010 - anyone else?
hello - just wondering when you went to Delhi, and whether or not there were a lot of other volunteers around?
