I am about to sign my son up for a month of volunteering, working and fun in Costa Rica with LPI or Learning Projects International. They seem on the up and up...parent reviews (On their site)...great photos (On their site)...nice staff...but I don't see anything on this site about them. Anyone ever heard of them...or anything about them? Thanks.
Hey bryan100, I didn't read nor heard about them in this site. But if I find some will surely share with you. Your son will learn and experience many new things through LPI.
Hi bryan100, I don't know what is LPI means. What does stands for?
LPI stand for Learning Programs International. it's provide ISA facility.and it's a good.
Can you say something more about it? :)
We ended up choosing LPI because is incorporated volunteering, cultural immersion and college credit for classes. On the weekends my son went on numerous adventures. While I didn't get a lot of detail...after all he is a teenager...I do know that he had a great time. While I can't say how this company compares to others as it was our first overseas adventure...we were happy with all aspects of the organization. The only negative was the fact that I felt so disconnected from his journey. With the advent of technology...I would have liked to see something a daily blog or something similar that would have allowed for his family to feel like they were a part of this. Hope this helps!
