Hey Guys so this is a long shot but I studied French abroad at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada in 2004. I was just hoping to see if anyone on here went there too, and recently? Perhaps we can get in touch because it was the time before Facebook really hit it big and I'd love to get in touch with some of the other students. Or even if you didn't go there in 2004 but were there at some point, I'd love to exchange experiences. By the way, if anyone is looking to study French abroad but cannot afford going to Paris, I'd highly recommend going to Laval. It's super easy to apply directly and a lot cheaper (I think I paid $1,800 back in 04) and the French classes are really great.
It was cheaper in 2004, but now 7 years have passed and its not easy to get admission in Laval University.
Really? How much is it now if you don't mind me asking? Also are we talking about the same university? Because there is one in Montreal and one in Quebec City. I believe the QC one is much easier to get into and cheaper too. However, if we're talking about the same one...then what a shame!
i have friends who went there. they were always pretty impressed by the level of french that exchange students had. i dont know if that helps but it makes me think its good
