CSA is fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough!

The journey starts when you are greeted and picked up at the airport by a friendly and enthusiastic staff member. Everyone at CSA is absolutely thrilled to be in China, and it's hard for the feeling to not rub off! The staff will take you directly to your accommodations and make sure you are settled in properly. The best part about CSA is the people. They really take the time and energy to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay.

Also, they are really good about hosting group events and connecting CSA students, so you will already have a group of friends as soon as you arrive. And if you decide to not participate in the group activities, that's fine too, but they are always there as a nice option!

From the airport pickup, to dealing with admissions and housing, to getting my phone working, booking train tickets, etc. etc. - CSA was there to help every step of the way. I actually can't image going to China without them. This is a highly professional and reliable group, yet still fun and easygoing. I would recommend CSA to anyone planning on making a trip to China!

If you're looking for a cost-effective program, CSA is definetely worth every penny. You can receive a lot of exposure to the Chinese language through the language classes and homestay they provide. Additionally, the CSA staff are extremelely helpful and supportive. One of their key strengths is ensuring that you feel welcome and comfortable through their services. Highly recommend it!

This was my 2nd tour in China. Last time was in 2012 where I spent a semester teaching English. I looked through many different mandarin schools in Beijing and also in the rest of China in general, but they were either too expensive or their way of teaching didn't suit my needs. I bet you have probably done a lot of research yourself, and it's difficult to choose a program seeing as there are so MANY! I eventually stumbled over China Study Abroad online, and after reading many reviews about it I chose to apply for their one month intensive program in Beijing. The reviews weren't lying. Their program is great! Teaching was done in small classes of no more than 5 students that forces you to interact a lot more than you normally would in a class of 25+ students. You can also choose to have private lessons as well. I would highly recommend private lessons as it really progresses your mandarin skills.
When I arrived in Beijing I was greeted by a lovely CSA staff member that gave a starter pack to get me going; cell phone, general information about Beijing etc. They drove me to the place I had rented for a month and insisted that if I needed help with anything, I should let them know, 24/7. They were so helpful with any inquiries I had, but also so including; taking you out for dinner, showing you around, inviting you to get-togethers etc. In other words; They make sure you're not lonely.

Two thumbs up!

I'll definitely choose their program again for my next tour in China!

They were able to set me up with martial arts classes with some of the best Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing) fighters in the country. I was happy with how much they helped me
