My time here in Askari has been very special. I learned so much about nature. Being here helped me change my perspective towards life. I feel like now I have even more respect for nature. I am not only taking pictures and knowledge back home but also a big commitment to take care of this planet. I am also super thankful that I got to share this experience with very special people. I loved every second here in Askari and I hope I can be back soon.

It was a life-changing experience for me! The staff is amazing and it's a great privilege to be part of an effort for conservation. Living in a reserve is an amazing experience and it made me review my priorities for the better. It was my first time in Africa, but I felt completely at home at Askari and learnt so much. I can't wait to come back.
From the first day I arrived in South Africa coming to Askari, it felt like home. The staff were very welcoming and the group immediately bonded. It is a privilege to have game drives two or three times a day for a whole month. This gives you time to see rare animals and watch special sightings like cheetah cubs for as long as you wish. Askari is not about checking off the big 5 but being one with nature and taking care of the environment. Both the amazing sightings at wildlife and the work carried out on the reserve contribute to this feeling. If your not just looking for a holiday but wish to make a real difference, Askari is the place to be.
I cant believe 3 months at Askari are already gone. What an amazing time I had I can only thank Katie and Robbie for their great hospitality and making us feel at home. Also thanks to them I have insanely improved my knowledge of the bush. I have already volunteered in other projects and I can assure you this is probably the best. I look forward to coming back again.
What a fabulous programme and made all the better by being able to work alongside Katie and Robbie. These two are absolute stars and really know their stuff.
They have so much passion and energy for what they do it can't help but rub off and leave you feeling a whole lot wiser about Animal conservation.
As a complete rookie and a little apprehensive to begin with we were certainly put at ease and no question was too daft! Our month at Askari flew by and we had a blast learning laughing and experiencing some fantastic sightings that were truly magical.
The workload is fun and very manageable, the food is great and Sth African wine is fantastic!
Don't dilly dally, get yourselves there and be prepared for an adventure!
