I am really glad to have found such a wonderful organization in India .Aimabroad runs their own projects including Orphanage , Slum School , Special need school , Slum clinics and program for women Empowerment .I had an opportunity to participate in multiple projects , Accomodation at volunteer Guest House was wonderful and food was delicious .
All the projects are for the welfare of rural communities in India .

Faridabad city is also well connected to various cities by buses and Trains, this helps a lot in organizing weekend trips .
There is no registration fee involved and participation fee is very affordable .

So i would definitely Recommend this program to future volunteers .

I did a lot of research to find a reputable and trustworthy program in India in which to volunteer. What I found in AIM Abroad was exactly that. The people at AIM Abroad in Faridabad, do an incredible job of taking care of their volunteers in addition to doing a wonderful service for the area. They are very fair, they have great host families to take incredible care of the volunteers, and they are more than willing to work with you and your schedule. They take care of everything from food, to lodging, to transportation for you so that you can just enjoy your experience of volunteering in India and not have to worry about anything else.

I enjoyed my short time with AIM Abroad, and I have every intention of going back one day and doing it again. I highly recommend them as a volunteer organization in India!

We came across this programme on the internet and after sifting through organisations we found this one to be the most flexible and cater for our travel needs. Kranti is the coordinator and always responded to emails.

The one thing you must note that in India not all goes as you may imagine so you need to be excepting of this and enjoy all the experiences India has to offer.

My daughter and I went to volunteer in a slum school for the two weeks and with the flexibility that this programme offers this all changed and we were able to experience many more placements.

Firstly we volunteered at a workplace where parents had there own business and we were able to teach their children while they worked.

Of an evening we would help out at an orphanage and help them with their homework, play games, do activities, read and help around the house. This is where we spent alot of time in our second week and Aim Abroad were able to accomodate this for us.

Second week we volunteered at a Slum School and this was a totally different experience one where these children didn't have nearly the same advantages as the other areas where we had been but were very keen to learn.

Also on the second week we spent some afternoons helping out at a Women's Empowerment Group teaching English this was again was an extremely rewarding experience.

We all so stayed with Kranti and other volunteers which was great as we made fabulous friends with them and would go sightseeing together.

We tried to put in as much volunteering as we could while we were there which Aim Abroad made possible.

Have to add that the care that was given to these groups by Aim Abroad is exceptional - they monitor and really care for these children with Kranti knowing all the children particularly at the Orphange and Workplace.

To sum this all up it was a fantastic experience one we will never forget and if volunteering or visiting India - just go with the flow & enjoy!

Our time with AimAbroad was really good - we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Based in Faridabad, you are right in the middle of India. We could have not felt further away from home but this is a good thing, you really feel the difference there. It's a great little town and our time with Aimabroad allowed us to experience loads of things. We lived with an indian family which we absoluetly adored and were not expecting when we arrived and we are so glad we did - they made us feel so welcome and always made sure we were fed and comfortable! The orphanage itself is great, the kids are happy and well looked after and you can tell they really enjoy spending time with foreigners, and it is really helping them to exceed in their english skills. It is all set up well and we had no problems. It is great value for money - your getting a very authentic experience compared to some other companies that will overcharge. We miss is alot and always speak about our time there, thoroughly recommend and would love to go back.

Vishy Bandhu (who runs the program) is a very nice man who is not only friendly, but always there to help any of the volunteers with whatever they may need.

In terms of the organization of the program itself, it is organized, but not amazingly so (but if you've ever been to India, you'd know that expecting North American standards of organization and structure would be a fantasy).

You will feel safe and cared for in the program and have the opportunity to assist in orphanages, schools, and hospitals/clinics.

Overall, the program is satisfying and fulfills the characteristics of what is advertised. I recommend it!
