As you guys suggested me to share my experience in India, so here is my experience of doing a program in India. India is amazing country like you are in a different world all together. I am one of the volunteers currently doing Volunteering program in Himalayas- India with Aii.
Before coming to India even I was not aware that there is another name of India too and that is Bhaarat, so in total I went through with amazing Orientation which actually helped me a lot in my project and in my stay. I did volunteering in South America and Africa too but I learned the real meaning of "Volunteering" here in this project. People here are so nice and I love the weather too. I did Skiing, River Rafting and Sight- Seeing during weekends. This is my last week of my project and then I am travelling to other parts of North India.
Thank you Deepak for making my stay and program so lovely. You really helped me a lot. Hope to see you soon
I would certainly recommend Volunteering program to others.

Hi everyone
I’m happy to share my emotions about my experience in India. Thanks for AII I lived in India for two months. During this time I was studying English (it was reason why I came India), travelling a lot, enjoyed Photographer Course and learning Indian culture. I’ m very much obliged my organization for: invitation, my host family and a lot of new friends from different country that I have met there. Before India I couldn’t speak English but now I feel confident myself. It was really good experience that opened new opportunities for me. I hope to come back India soon.
Hey!!
I am Josefin Dominican. Hail from Atlanta USA. I dont want to take more space on the website ;) Just want to convey a message to you all about Aii & its Volunteer programs. My experience was Great!! Great!! Great!!
Projects are really needy as you will see their records with Aii. Their progress charts & all the data regarding the children was updated.
Yes!! in the first meeting in orientation part you are going to learn some Hindi. As I have learned 'Main Achchhi Hun' means 'I am good' lol.
Aii and staff is really caring & awesome. I support the org & recommend it to all of you!! Live some moments for others too!!!
Good bye!!
Namaste!!
