This was a great organization that provided great people and organization. At the same time, at least from the perspective of a teenager still accustomed to living with their parents, the best part was the freedom the organization allowed us to explore the country and check out various things. Although I personally did not make any changes to the programs that I signed up for, I saw the flexibility that RCDP allowed for people to switch and/or act activities and such onto what they had signed up for. The employees of RCDP are all great people, and are extremely helpful and kind. I worked in the orphanage in Chitwan, as well as the conservation project there, and was impressed by the things I learned and did. Make sure you do stuff while in Nepal, and don't just stay inside.

Definitely a great learning opportunity. If it's your first time volunteering, I would recommend you to start with the organization, which they will provide you with lots of supports and show you around the country, which will be for most of you will be a great culture change. The organization will allow you lots of opportunities to connect with great people from all over the countries as well as really sweet people in Nepal of course. You will have lots of fun and again learn so much.

If you like to visit a country, get to know the culture, go sightseeing and do volunteering work to help in my case children in an orphanage. Than is RCDP the perfect organisation for you. The difference between other organisations and RCDP is that they are very flexible and give you a lot of freedom. If you have a problem or you want to change the original plans about the volunteering, they will help you as much as they can. If your young and want to do volunteering i would recommend RCDP because it has the perfect balance between giving freedom and giving support. For older people who are used to travel i would recommend to just go out without an organisation and look for places where they need your help. but as an first experience its totally worth it!

I have enjoyed my volunteer in Nepal. People has been very nice to us and we felt comfortable and good, getting to know the culture and traditions of the country has enriched us and has been very positive. I came here with seven friends to do the healthcare program, it was not bad but because we have just done our second year we could not helped that much, mostly of the time we just watched and learned from the local doctors. It has been a good experience.

People in the hostel try to do our stay here as much comfortable as they can. We could combine going to the hospital to do healthcare program and going to the orphanage. Great experience.
