The process of applying to Quest was so easy, and the communication with people in the office was fantastic, i never felt like i was just another applicant, i always felt like they cared, and they actually do.
All the way through the process of raising the money, filling out Visa applications and getting injections, the office staff were fantastic and had the experience to tell us exactly what we needed.
I only went on the summer trip, due to study obligations, but I entirely wish I could have gone on the longer trips, or even an expedition, all the way through the trip, the leader was in contact with England, and made sure everything was working right. Accomodation was basic, but only what you'd expect in africa, to have anything more than we did would have been unreasonable for the environment we were living in. 4 weeks is a perfect amount of time to go out on an trip, and there is never a dull moment, or a moment of boredom. Quest work really hard to make sure the people that go on a trip will get on and are a team, because of the work that is being done, and that is what everyone seems to get, a well working team.
the highest reccomendations.

Quest was for me, and for the other 5 people also on the course, an amazing 3 months. It took us on a trip through the Bolivian jungle, constructing a cage for a puma and also spending 3 weeks walking a puma, to the andes mountain range in Peru, trekking along paths I never though I would have visited. The two guides we had became, throughout the course of the trip, friends rather than authority figures (although they had an impeccable knowledge of everywhere we went) and the various things we did (including sand boarding, surfing and ice climbing) are experiences that will always stay in my mind. I would recommend quest to anyone thinking of taking a gap year or a year abroad regardless of their age or background.

I have just returned from South America having spent three months learning Spanish, working with kids and an expedition. Hands down the best continent in the world, the best organization to go with and the best experience of my life. Gutted to be home!

An amazing experience, there aren't words to describe it. We saw some of the most amazing things in the world, and shared it with a really nice group of people.

I had the most incredible time. The volunteer work was incredible and very worthwhile. we stayed in Tanzania, worked hard on a building project for 6weeks (fun at the same time!!), it was so rewarding by the end as we could really see that we had made a difference. We then travelled around the other countries trekking, diving, going on safaris and more! truely amazing. Never thought I could fit so much into 3 months!
