Program Coordinators

Are you running a program that is being reviewed on this site?
Since it is almost impossible to get only 100% unbiased reviews, we are allowing program coordinators one "official" response to each review made about their company. This can help put some reviews in perspective to our readers.

For example, someone named "John Doe" might post a review that they did an internship in Africa and it was a terrible experience. Your company doesn't have any programs in Africa, nor do you do internships, nor have you ever worked with someone named John Doe. We don't delete reviews based on these premises because it would be impossible to independently verify each case. So now you can simply post an official reply to this post, publicly stating that you believe this review is false since your company does not offer programs that the reviewer described.

Since AbroadReviews.com does not want to get caught in the middle, we will let both parties (the reviewer and the program coordinator) share their sides of the story and allow each visitor to interpret it on their own. We believe this system will help ensure that AbroadReviews.com takes a 100% unbiased stance and treats all programs and reviews the same.

We only delete reviews that do not comply with our internal rules: reviews that are off topic, offensive, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate or anything that is not an actual review. We also prevent more than one review from being posted by a single IP address. We do not delete any reviews that are believed to be biased, misleading, or otherwise fictitious because it would be impossible to verify, and we do not want to take on the responsibility of verifying each reviewer's participation in the program being reviewed.

If you are interested in creating "official" responses to your programs reviews, please keep in mind the process:
  1. Please email me at: admin@abroadreviews.com
  2. I will need to verify your affiliation with the program, usually done by calling the phone number listed on your site program's website.
  3. I will give you a unique URL that will list all the reviews on your program. You will have the option to reply to any that you want. Once you have posted a reply, you will not be able to edit it, add to it or delete it.
  4. Your unique URL will stay good indefinitely and you will be allowed to reply to any new reviews added.
  5. If you abuse your authority by posting anything inappropriate or offensive, we will suspend your privileges and retain the right to post a disclaimer on your program's review page stating that you once had "official" response privileges, but they were suspended due to inappropriate behavior.
All program logos and names are trademark by their respective companies. Reviews on this site are the opinion of the users and are not guaranteed correct. Material on this site does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of its creator, owner or anyone else involved.
