Cross-Cultural Solutions

I stayed in Puriscal, Costa Rica for 3 weeks and it was absolutely amazing. The staff at the house were incredibly helpful, working at my volunteer placement was very rewarding (and fun!), and I met some great people along the way. I would really recommend it to anyone who is looking to volunteer internationally as well as learn about other cultures.

Global Learning Semesters

GLS staff are all very helpful and supportive. I never felt like I was making the transition alone, they were always there if I needed anything! The program is very open and flexible, which allows for you to get out of it exactly what you want. If you put yourself in new situations you will have a very rewarding experience. I so thankful for all of my new friends and all of the things I learned about life!

I loved the home stay. A couple of things went wrong, but overall it was an experience of a lifetime. It was also the cheapest trip like it that I found. The people were UNFORGETABLE. I loved this trip and I might just do it again in the future!

I had so much fun! I got to know the staff very well, and made friends with just about everybody in my group. What an experience! I got to see 10 other countries (besides Cyprus) while I was abroad, and nothing compares to what I learned while abroad. I agree that many people seemed to just want to party, but it all about how YOU live abroad, and I couldn't be happier with all that I learned/experienced...I'll never forget my time abroad, and I am a much better person because of it! Good Luck!
