Go Abroad China (GAC) ***Warning Fake Reviews***

I lived in Beijing before for studying and always had this dream to come back and settle in the city, having a proper job and etc. I graduated this year and thought it would be the perfect timing to come back to China. But I didn’t know what to do or where to start… I was a bit lost and didn’t have anything actually planned.
When I found Go Abroad China on Google it immediately came across as a good opportunity for me and fit perfectly to my profile, so I applied online.
Finally, they got a placement for me after weeks of waiting.

I was enrolled to the company I interned. Yeah, I was really lucky! So I was really happy with the internship, with the tasks I had been given and with my marketing team.

So, after 4 months being a hard worker intern, they officially offered me the position of Marketing Assistant, extending it for another 6 months and it will be reviewed with a view to implementing a full-time contract. Couldn’t be happier!
If you have the same aspirations as me and if you are a hard worker, I highly recommend applying for Go Abroad China Internship program! There are no limits to the benefits that you could gain by making part of it.

RCDP International Volunteer Abroad

This company has a supportive team to guide you through placements. One thing that bugged me was that some of the coordinators pocketed money from the volunteers which were supposed to go to the family we stayed with. However, if it was not for this program, I would not have gained friends and family in Kenya and would not have been able to see the true wild life on this magnificent continent.

Askari WCP

It was a special honour to be able to experience Askari even if only for a brief slice of time. Two weeks isn’t long enough….
The thing that stands out most, aside from seeing some of the coolest creatures I have seen in my life, is the people: passionate and knowledgeable staff/guides and volunteers from all over the world who have come for the same reason – to experience the South African bush but more than that, to contribute to the restoration and conservation of it. That is what sets Askari apart from anything else I have done. That is what gives travel here a deeper significance. And the fact that we have over 17,000 hectares of wild space to ourselves is the best! There are no tourist crowds. No other game viewers full of people driving the same roads, blocking views…It is just us (whilst we are here) to appreciate, enjoy and help conserve. Wide open natural spaces full of serene beauty and magnificent creatures from the tiny termites with their monstrous mounds to the majestic lions and everything in between. And the deep red sunsets and sunrises are pretty spectacular too.
I love that anything can happen at any time and indeed it often does! You have to be ready and prepared or else you’ll miss it. Hope I can return someday…

Projects Abroad

After spending months trying to decide which summer program to participate in, I chose Projects Abroad for the summer of 2017 because I wanted a program that really needed volunteers and would not just have us do busy work. The turtle conservation program in Mexico was the perfect fit!

All of the staff spoke both English and Spanish and were incredibly helpful! We started learning about our work at the Tortugario Ecologico (the nature reserve) as soon as we got there. The activities ranged from washing the adult and baby turtles to cleaning turtle tanks, feeding the iguanas, planting mangroves, completing a bird census, etc. The ther volunteers I was working with were super friendly. The majority of us were from the United States but there were also a few people from places all over the world, including as far away as Norway. We all got along extremely well and I am still in contact with a few of them today.

We spent the next two weeks doing hard but rewarding work with a small weekend trip to a beautiful beach town called Melake. The entire trip was amazing and passed in the blink of an eye. I was genuinely sad to be leaving both the other volunteers and the staff behind and I definitely want to go back next summer!
