RCDP International Volunteer Abroad

I did medical volunteering in Puntarenas. At first, It was not what I expected. The communication and clarity about the program before it started wasn't completely correct and some items weren't clear. Despite that, I had a great experience. The people in the clinic where I volunteered were so nice and I got to see interesting procedures. The clinic is very well provided and the people are well-off, so don't expect an underdeveloped area. The volunteerhouse and food are very nice. Although I think they're could've been smoother communication about activities etc. However, I really liked Costa Rica and I had a great experience.

Global Crossroad

I enjoyed my project teaching English, but I think there could've been more communication and clarity about the program before it started. Some information wasn't clear and other items overlapped. For example, there was much confusion and miscommunication about the Spanish classes offered. What was written in the paper versus what was received was not what was expected at all and that was unfortunate. However, I had an overall amazing experience with my project and I found it to be very rewarding as well as educational for myself.

Frontier

I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Animal health and welfare project in Fiji.\
Everyone, volunteers and locals alike, were highly friendly and many locals would attempt to stop on the street to chat with you.

The accomodation was basic but suitable. Everyone had their own bed and the food each night was delicious! The tap water was suitable to drink, which meant that hardly any money was spent on drinks at all!
The project itself was enlightening, and very worthwhile. Sometimes the work could be hard, as you would see issues that would be very unlikely to arise in the UK, but the people and animals made everything worthwhile.

The weekends were packed full of tourist-like trips, and it was very interesting to see the difference between "Locals-Fiji" and "Tourist-Fiji".

The project was an amazing and rewarding time of my life, and I made friends with people whom I hope I stay in touch with.

Go Abroad China (GAC) ***Warning Fake Reviews***

I lived in Beijing before for studying and always had this dream to come back and settle in the city, having a proper job and etc. I graduated this year and thought it would be the perfect timing to come back to China. But I didn’t know what to do or where to start… I was a bit lost and didn’t have anything actually planned.
When I found Go Abroad China on Google it immediately came across as a good opportunity for me and fit perfectly to my profile, so I applied online.
Finally, they got a placement for me after weeks of waiting.

I was enrolled to the company I interned. Yeah, I was really lucky! So I was really happy with the internship, with the tasks I had been given and with my marketing team.

So, after 4 months being a hard worker intern, they officially offered me the position of Marketing Assistant, extending it for another 6 months and it will be reviewed with a view to implementing a full-time contract. Couldn’t be happier!
If you have the same aspirations as me and if you are a hard worker, I highly recommend applying for Go Abroad China Internship program! There are no limits to the benefits that you could gain by making part of it.
