I would definitely reccomend IVHQ to anyone, and j definitely plan on travelling with IVHQ again in the future. When I emailed questions to the IVHQ coordinator I always got speedy and helpful responses, and the partner organization in Ghana, VCO, provided 24-hour support while we were there. All we had to do was text or call and they would quickly help us out. The accommodation was great considering where we were, and the price was unbeatable. I researched other organizations and no one had lower prices, yet I didn't compromise and quality. Overall this was an amazing experience and I always felt safe and supported. I will definitely be doing this again!

Good work Eddie and the IVHQ team in Ghana!

I went with IVHQ to Ghana- it was by far the greatest experience of my life! From the beginning IVHQ staff were very supportive and they were really nice! I emailed the coordinator a few times and she responded right away. Once I arrived in Ghana the IVHQ team there was very supportive and helped me out a lot. Accommodations were acceptable (given the country's situation). Also, keep in mind that you are paying way less than another volunteer organization (no one can beat these prices- very affordable). I definitely recommend this program- especially IVHQ Ghana!! They were the best! I can't wait to go back. This is a life changing experience!

Thanks for your feedback! Hope to have you volunteer with us in the future soon.

The best! The cheapest! I love IVHQ! I was volunteering with people in the very same schools who had paid over twice what I had paid and got so much less, and some of my fees even went to the place I was volunteering at, which no other organization seems to do, all the fees go to the volunteer people, but not the kids who need it... sad. The partnered with a great Tanzanian organization to make this affordable. They were soooo prompt getting back to me in emails, calmed all my fears, totally prepared me for Africa. And when my plane went to the wrong airport (that is Africa for ya...) they drove 45 to get me anyways! I am of course going back, and you should come! Life changing trip for me, but I highly recommend that you stay for at least a month, my 5 weeks didn't seem like enough.

Great to hear :-) We love feedback like this! Good work Tanzania team.
Hi! I am hoping this post finds you well, I'm thinking of going Tanzania this summer and was wondering it I could contact you personally. Kind regards!!

I finished an 8 week trip with IVHQ a few months ago and loved it. I felt the support from IVHQ pre-departure was really good and in country, I had eight amazing weeks. I went with no expectations and thought mainly of the volunteering side of things. Don't get me wrong - the teaching was great and I love the kids, but outside of the work, visiting sites with other volunteers and socializing, it all contributed to an amazing time. One of the best things I did not realize about IVHQ was the high numbers of volunteers they have. This for me was so important (I wish I had known before I left as I was worried I would be alone), but with over 20 volunteers in Ho Chi Minh while I was there, there were always plenty of other people to explore with outside of volunteering hours. Big thanks to Andy and Minh in HCMC for making my trip unfortgettable!

Hi there, thank for your review, I going to be graduating in June of next year and started having plans to volunteer abroad especially in Viet Nam, how was your living conditions, and do you think that you volunteer work gave you a valuable experience for the future

First time volunteering abroad and highly recommend using ivhq and maximo. ivhq were very supportive and set everything up for me. the most attractive thing about their program when i signed up was the cost which had me concerned the quality may not be up to standard, but the experience was fantastic. highly recommended.
