Currently two weeks into the teaching project in Siem Reap and I'm having an amazing time. The local people are so friendly and the other volunteers are also great. I feel like
I really have value at the school and helping children learn English is super rewarding. I can't wait for the rest of my time here.

Had a great time in Belize. It's a really chilled country and the project was lots of fun. We did surveying most week days, and saw plenty of marine life, including manatees - twice!
I'd definitely recommend the project, it's on a beautiful location and don't think I would have got to appreciate an island like Caye Caulker if I wasn't doing something like this.

I spent two weeks on the Tenerife whales project. Really enjoyed it! The staff are lovely and although I was only there a short time I really felt like a part of the team, and that my activities were part of something larger. On a typical day you will probably go out on the whale watching boats for half a day. During this we're involved in two main activities - cataloguing the whales and dolphins sighted (there are loads in this part of the world!) and raising awareness on sustainable whale watching.
The volunteer house is a real gem, it's far enough from the city centre that it's peaceful but you can walk to town in 10 or 15 minutes. There's loads of space to socialise, cook, and work on the project initiatives.
I'd like to have stayed longer but I am aiming to go back again in the new year.

I spent four weeks on the Frontier Madagascar Forest Program and had one of the best times of my life! The people I met there, both staff and volunteers, were super friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. The social side of the program was a lot of fun and I know I have made friends for life! The diet and living situation took a bit of getting used to, as I am definitely a city girl at heart, but in the end I really enjoyed the simple way of life. The best part though, by far, was the animals! The species I saw on the island of Nosy-Be really ignited my passion for conservation. I hope one day to return to Madagascar and I recommend anyone looking for a good experience to get on board with Frontier!

The tenerife project was incredible! I left with so much knowledge about cetaceans and experience with collecting data. I went on many boat trips with informative project workers and other volunteers monitoring and recording data about cetaceans. Within two weeks my skills on the boat trips and writing up data massively improved and so did the qualities of my photo ID pictures.

The house we stayed in was comfortable and so easy to settle into, it had a great atmosphere and lots of space. It was easy to bond and make friends with other people on project throughout the boat trips, activities, briefing and sharing house chores.

I would recommend that anyone thinking about signing up for this trip, should do it for at least 3 weeks , it was so hard to leave! I am going on to study zoology, and a project like this is the perfect introduction to field work and the type of amazing people that run conservation projects. I definitely feel like i've had an unique experience, and unforgettable encounters with pilot whales, dolphins and a brydes whale.
